people * stories * engagement

I was asked about what keeps me focused … and apart from the usual reply of something like growing the business or community, or ensuring I have enough to eat or run the car, I found myself suggesting the real reason I stay focused is to develop the human bond.

The language we speak, the way we communicate, it takes a little while to find our feet and develop. Being involved in the people industry, I often to suggest … the sooner we identify with our own language – something that sets us apart from any similar offering or business – the quicker we’ll be on the road to offering that unique proposition to our prospects.

The family is important, the clan.

The sooner we find out clan, those that may have similar business or social interests, we’re developing the human bond. Communicating in our own unique way means we’re seen, recognised, remembered. Our reputation begins to grow as word of mouth quickly works for us.

In a world where fake prevails, when there’s a promise of a shortcut to success in everything we pursue, where data means more than relationships, property value is more important than the community in which we inhabit, I find the focus on personal engagement to be a wise move, and uniquely valuable today.

Find your own language.

Whatever industry we inhabit, whether working for the boss or steering your own business in the direction of choice, the language we talk – and who we engage today is more important than ever.

Do you feel it too?

People are the key to getting us where we wish to be; I’ll stay focused as I continue cultivating my community, developing the human bond.

How about you? Sound good?

People buying from passionate people …
